Mathys Design AG: A Swiss Brand Since the Early '80s. Mr. Mathys served as the director of a well-known European brand factory that specialized in "Gema" products. Notably, "Gema" was the pioneering developer of powder coating technology for metal ceilings. After departing from the factory, he founded "Mathys Design AG" in Switzerland during the 1980s. The company had consistently evolved its metal ceiling systems. It caters to both high-end custom designs and economical standard ceilings. And Mathys Design was established with the aim of becoming the European export agent for the German metal ceiling brand.

At 2004, the "Mathys Design" metal ceilings are collaboratively developed with two companies around Lake Constance: Gema Metallbau GmbH in Germany and H. König Metallbau GmbH in Austria. This partnership enhances the design and manufacturing of high-quality metal ceilings. It expanded its manufacturing affiliations to Asia, particularly southern China.

Not only are all Mathys ceiling designs special, they are custom-fabricated in selected high-performance manufacturing plants in Europe featuring advanced quality control to ISO 9001 standards.
